Community Food Drive

Today, we delivered all the food we received as a part of our Community Food Drive to Jackson Park and The Harvest Center. We want to thank everyone who donated. It was a huge success, and we pray that our donations will help others have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Youth Ministry Christmas Tree Sale - November 22, 23, 24

Start your holiday season now and help us send our Youth Ministry to Ethiopia, Costa Rica and West Virginia next summer!

Church at Charlotte’s Youth Ministry is having a Christmas Tree Sale November 22, 23 and 24 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the church parking lot. All proceeds will benefit the Summer 2009 Youth Mission Trips. Trees available will be North Carolina Frazier Firs, and prices will range from $45 - $55. Thanksgiving Food Drive

ServeGlobal is hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive benefit two of our partnering ministries, Jackson Park and the Harvest Center. Drop off your non-perishable food items in the Courtyard during weekend services, or in the Lobby of the Administration Building anytime during the week.

Jackson Park is a ministry that helps those in need by offering them biblical instruction and life-skills training as well as accountability. The Harvest Center’s mission statement is “to meet the spiritual and physical needs of the homeless and to restore them to full and productive lives.” To learn more about The Harvest Center and to find out how you can help visit http://www.theharvestcenter.org.

Measure Twice, Cut Once - November 17

The next phase of “Men Under Construction” is November 17. John Pierce from the Barnabas Center will be our guest speaker, and dinner will be included. Cost is $10. Click here to register.

John has witnessed firsthand how God can use the common sexual struggles men face to bring about spiritual transformation. During our time together he will share insights from God’s Word about these topics.

John has directed a private counseling practice and co-created Journey of Men, a small group ministry focusing on the enhancement of men’s spiritual and interpersonal relationships. He has been with the Barnabas Center since 1997 and has recently developed Honors Path, a small group ministry to sexually struggling men and their families.
We hope to see you there! Dinner will begin at 6:15 p.m. in W2 and W3 and our program will be held in the Video Cafe.

Youth Ministry Fundraising Dinner

The Youth Ministry will host a Fundraising Dinner on Wednesday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m. in the Gym. All proceeds will benefit the Youth Ministry Summer 2009 Mission Trips. Cost is $5 at registration and $8 at the door. Click here to register. 

Take out will be available.
