Fred and Dorothy Bruner - Wycliffe Bible Translators
Fred and Dorothy served as support personnel with Wycliffe Bible Translators from 1967 - 2002. They have served in Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Philippines, the Solomon Islands and the JAARS center in Waxhaw, NC. The Bruners are officially retired, but Fred is still working Project Development - administering funds designated for projects in the Pacific Area of Wycliffe.
Currently, they live in Dallas, Texas and are volunteering at the SIL center. They are thankful for their health, the ability to continue serving God through Wycliffe and the opportunity to reconnect with old friends and colleagues. They recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.
Fred and Dorothy’s prayer request is for good health as they seek to serve the Lord in Dallas.

Phyllis Baughman - Wycliffe Bible Translators
Phyllis and her husband, Willis, began their ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators in 1953. Willis served as a pilot and administrator and Phyllis did a variety of support service work. Together, they experienced great joy as they brought God’s Word to many indigenous groups of people throughout the world. As a family, they served for 29 years, until Willis passed away in 1992. Phyllis continued to work with JAARS until 1998.
When Church at Charlotte was founded in 1973, Willis and Phyllis were the church’s first supported missionaries. Today, Phyllis attends Glenstone Chapel, a church plant of Church at Charlotte, and is involved in many activities, including prayer ministry and outreach.
Phyllis is thankful to God for her family and friends who have encouraged and prayed for her throughout the years. Her prayer request is for her continued good health and the health of her four children, seven grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She prays that God will bless them and walk with them throughout each of their lives.
You can send a note of encouragement to Phyllis at: 6201 Davis Road, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
