Our Junior High ministry exists so that students will have the opportunity to discover what Jesus Christ has done for us, and so that they can fellowship with other students their age.

LAUNCH
March 12-13
LAUNCH Overnighter
Our 2nd annual Overnighter will be March 12th and 13th from 7:00 p.m. Friday evening until noon Saturday. It will be a fun night of hanging out watching movies, playing games and more! The cost is $10 and a pizza dinner and pancake breakfast will be provided. Once again, the location will be at Jr. High Pastor Cedric and Emma Lundy’s home (406 Leighton Court Matthews, NC 28105). The girls will sleep upstairs, the boys will sleep downstairs, and there will be plenty of adult leaders of both genders in attendance for the duration of the night and morning. Sunday School
11:00 a.m. in W-9 and W-10
Seventh and eighth grade students gather on Sunday mornings to be taught straight from God’s Word in a fun, easy-going environment.
Wednesday nights
7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Gym
The night starts off with fun and intense games in the gym (sometimes boys against girls, sometimes students against leaders, and sometimes everyone for his/herself!), followed by a short message from Cedric and then small groups. This is a time for students to discuss what they’ve learned from the message, and to share their struggles with others going through the same experiences.
Retreats and Camps
Annual Fall Beach Retreat in Garden City Chapel, SC.
Bi-annual Challenge Youth Conference (held on even years).
Faze 6
Upcoming Faze 6 Events
Sunday school
11:00 a.m. guys in W-8, girls in W-7
Specially designed for sixth graders, Faze 6 has separate classes for just guys and just girls to get them ready for the transition into Club 7/8. During the school year they meet in their own classes for teaching and hanging out, and then during the summer months they join Club 7/8 for Sunday school.
