Senior High

High school students encounter the life-changing message of Jesus Christ through Retro, the senior high ministry of Church at Charlotte. The goal is for each student to experience discipleship within the context of personal relationships.

Teenagers want to know the real and active God in the world - not just an idea or concept. And we want to help them. Just as God reconciled the world to him through Christ 2,000 years ago, Retro serves as God’s ambassador to bring today’s teenagers to the feet of Jesus.

Join us Sunday mornings at 11:01 a.m. for The Bridge and Wednesday nights from 7:01 - 8:46 p.m. for Many Rooms. Both events are held in the Senior High room.

Service Opportunities

Each month we offer our students an opportunity to serve others. We often visit, Lois’ Lodge, The Harvest Center, Jackson Park, Alexander Children’s Home and retirement homes. Each event includes a lot of work, tons of fun and usually lunch! Each opportunity allows our students to serve the local community and builds up to opportunities to serve farther away!

Retreats and Camps

Who doesn’t love to get away from their normal routine? Our overnight adventures are intended to give our students a chance to experience God outside of his or her normal routine. Each October we go on a Fall retreat, and each April our girls head off for a weekend at the beach while the guys camp in the mountains. Each “odd” year we go on a missions trip and each “even” year we attend Challenge.
